Vasarian Corridor

Vasarian Corridor, a kilometre long, (built in 1564 by Giorgio Vasari) is one of the most unique attractions of Florence: A passage from the Old Palace, running along the Arno river stretching over the old bridge, and arrives at Palace Pitti . The concept of an elevated passage at that time was very innovative. The corridor also boasts a spectacular view of the river and the Santa Felicità church, from the corridor you can actually see the inside of the church just like the Medici did at the time; along the wall there is also a window that faces, which at one time was the family’s private garden. Our English speaking guide will give you specialized life along the way that the Medici have done for nearly 170 years. Max.14 persons for private group reservation.
